About

RevEng3 is where I publish technical work I consider solid enough to deserve to exist.

Reverse engineering, operating systems, binary formats, software security, tooling, protocols and, more generally, problems that require understanding what is actually happening beneath the abstraction.

This is not a corporate blog, nor is it a service catalogue. Some of the work comes from independent research, some from problems encountered in the field, and some simply because something doesn't add up and is worth opening to see what's inside.

I also build tools when the available ones don't do what I need. 0tH/zth started that way.

Behind RevEng3 is one person: me, Gabriele Biondo. Let's not pretend you're particularly interested in who I am: if I were you, I wouldn't be.

For the public CV, there's LinkedIn. For anything else, get in touch.

RevEng3 is also a UK company and does accept commissioned work, but this site does not attempt to represent every kind of work the company may take on. What ends up here is mostly technical work that has a life of its own beyond delivery.

If a problem has already been through competent hands and still resists explanation, that's usually when it becomes interesting.
